About me

My name is Alain, and I was born and raised in the French Alps, nestled between the borders of Switzerland and Italy.

While my early years were not steeped in spiritual practice, I’ve always had a natural curiosity about cultures that place an emphasis on the Energy and the mind-body connection.

As a young adult, I had a strong desire to travel and explore different parts of the world. This quest led me to the French territories of New Caledonia, located in the Pacific Ocean where I established myself and lived for 15 years. There, I encountered a way of life that celebrated the earth and its ancestors, cultivating a profound reverence for the natural world.

At the time, I was working as an accountant, but my growing curiosity about energy work and spirituality soon led me down a different path. One day, during a healing treatment, a therapist recognised my gift for healing and suggested that I pursue a career in massage therapy. These words resonated with me deeply, and I decided to leave my old life behind and embark on a new journey.

I immersed myself in India’s rich culture, spending three months living in an Ashram and delving into the deep roots of spiritual practice. There, I gained firsthand experience of how spirituality infuses every aspect of daily life.

I then journeyed to Nepal to study the art of Ayurvedic and Thai massage therapy, developing my skills under the guidance of skilled teachers and students who were impressed by my natural abilities.

After this transformative experience, I returned to India where I had the privilege of studying under a gifted Reiki teacher. He recognized my innate healing power and urged me to use it for the greater good. It was during this time that I discovered the teachings of Osho, a revered Indian philosopher, which had a profound impact on my life and made me feel more attuned to the universal laws of the universe.

I returned to Kathmandu and established my own Reiki and massage therapy studio, where I worked with many clients and developed my own unique massage style. I finally moved back to India and practiced in Goa for 4 years. During that time, I met some patients who gave me the opportunity to travel again, visiting destinations such as Switzerland, Moscow, England, and France. In 2019, the Covid pandemic brought me to London to get closer to my daughter and where I now have since established my practice: Alain Healing.

With over 10 years of experience as a therapist, I have treated a wide range of symptoms, pains, and injuries, drawing on both my expertise and intuition to provide my clients with the best possible care. My massage concentrates all my life experiences and is a testament to my commitment to promoting wellbeing and healing in others.
